Usable bar length:
The housing and the base columns are made of semi-gloss AISI 304 stainless steel. Base columns are empty and can be used to integrate customer components. The rotation head and other electrical and mechanical elements are integrated into the centre housing. In case of multiple installations, the housing unit acts as a guiding element – additional guiding bars are not required. To improve personal safety, standards and guidelines relating to points where body parts could get pinched or squashed have been taken into account in the development of the tripod barrier (Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC).

The rigid crossbars are made of stainless steel. The tripod barrier is mechanically free in one direction, the opposite direction is blocked. The rotary motion is initiated manually.
□ Aggregate type 1.1
The rigid crossbars are made of stainless steel. One direction is controlled electrically while the opposite direction remains blocked. Passage is released in one direction after a release impulse. The rotary motion is initiated manually. The unit can only be passed through by the user and locked again the next time the unit is in home position. In the case of a power failure, both directions are locked.
□ Aggregate type 1.2
The rigid crossbars are made of stainless steel. The tripod is electrically controlled in both directions. Through a release impulse for the entry or exit direction, the selected rotation direction is released. The rotary motion is initiated manually. In the case of a power failure, both directions are locked.

The rigid crossbars are made of stainless steel. The tripod barrier is equipped with a servo-positioning drive (low energy drive with energy content
Since the drive and the locking devices are mechanically separated, low energy drives can be used to provide personal protection. On the other hand, high locking forces can be used to prevent unauthorised passage through the unit. Parameters can be set for unit behaviour and each specific customer (e.g. starting behaviour and passage speed).
MCBF (mean cycles between failure) is 5 million.

Fold down bars
The upper bar folds down when a button is pressed (on-site signal) or in the event of a power failure. The reset is initiated manually. The reset is initiated automatically for type 2 units (patented process).
